I was very inspired by the watery textures and soft colors in my darling daughter's paintings, and thought they would lend themselves to a coastal themed series of illustrations. I snipped and nipped and played with negative space, and love that they are perfectly imperfect.
I teamed up with college buddy Geoff Deen to put a face on his brainchild, Hardball Cider. Together, we developed his logo, bottle and can labels, which are now available in the Phillies Citizens Bank Park, Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, Reading Fightin' Phils and Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railriders stadiums, as well as other locations. It was important to Geoff that the logo give off a classic American baseball vibe, and I thoroughly enjoyed bringing his apple/baseball idea to life. We also developed branding and labels for containers of his non-alcoholic, sweet apple cider, dubbed The Minors.
Each year, I design a holiday e-card for Boddewyn Gaynor Architects. This year, I flexed my illustrator muscle and had a whole lot of fun with this snowy skyline.
A bridal tea invitation
I was tasked with creating an invitation for a bridal tea. I found a beautiful set of floral letters by aleph corporation, which paired perfectly with the vintage look the bridal party was after. I also designed tea bag wrap labels, which the party hosts were able to print out and assemble around store-bought tea bags. A very sweet touch!
A longtime client, Boddewyn Gaynor Architects keep me busy with their business development needs. When the business name changed from Alan Gaynor Architects to Boddewyn Gaynor in 2014, I developed their new logo, keeping the company's heritage in mind. Other projects include an e-newsletter template, magazine adverts, and a promotional magazine celebrating their 40 years in business.

St. Luke's Blue Ribbon 5k
I had the pleasure of designing the race shirts for the 2015 St. Luke's 5k, incorporating their blue ribbon as the main component of the design. I just finished up work on the 2016 edition, which features my own hand-lettering. Stay tuned!
Rainbow flower illustrations
A sweet little series celebrating spring and some of my favorite types of flowers: daisy, dianthus, pansy, peony and tulip.
